Equality

We believe everybody has a good place inside, and that when we look at each other with real respect, this place will grow.

We create intuitive painting workshops for people to express themselves via painting and poetry.

We exhibit the paintings w/poems in places where they can influence and raise awareness in adults, especially decision makers.

Via painting workshops and exhibitions, we lift people’s voices up and show that they are worth being listened to.

Since 2007 we have given a voice to people from all walks of life, including important minorities, refugees and immigrants (e.g. North Korean school children, Sámi minorities, Syrian refugees).

Peacepainting has a host of benefits for those who create the paintings, and raises awareness in people who experience the exhibitions.

There are currently two research projects carried out by NTNU, Norway and Windesheim Honours College, Netherlands where they specifically research the effects of the Peacepainting method.
